Sachin Tendulkar wants Indian Team to concentrate on World Cup

Sachin Tendulkar has advised the Indian team to stay positive and does not think about their sufferings on the Australia tour so far.

According to Sachin, World Cup will be different from the triangular series in which India played recently and performed poorly.

Sachin was on an Indian news channel last night. He talked about India’s strengths and weaknesses and also, about his own experience of playing against Pakistan in the World Cups.

Sachin played 5 matches against Pakistan in the World Cups and he saw India winning all those games. In fact, he was the man of the match in 3 of them.

Even in the previous World Cup when India took on Pakistan in the semi final, it was Sachin who had scored 85 runs. Yes, he had been dropped 4 times during that innings of his, but, that was not his fault.

In that game, which was full of drama, those 85 runs were of utmost importance for India as that surface in Mohali was behaving weirdly.

India does not have Sachin anymore, but, there is one guy who is carrying the weight of the Indian batting order the same way the Master Blaster used to do and that is Virat Kohli.

Sachin believes Virat is a natural leader and he can set the tone for India with his batting in the tournament.

Virat has been a little quiet after the test series and that’s not such a bad thing for India. He is now due for a few good knocks and the fans would dearly want a big one coming from him this weekend.

Virat has not had overwhelming batting numbers against Pakistan. But, his highest ODI score had come against the men in Green only in 2012.
