It seems as though Atherton just had a problem against Australia in general. Both McGrath and Warne had the wood, very much, on him 😀

Would of got Athers more if McGrath did not destroy him first

Listen to Richie commentating these wickets… you can really hear how passionate he is about leg-spin bowling, and how much he enjoyed watching these deliveries.

He also got Alec Stewart 14 times, and Nasser Hussain 11 times.

Be great if you could upload those when you have a chance.

    XD

Great compilation as always! Thanks, Rob.

Watching Warnie bowl Atherton round his legs, I can’t seem to understand the LBW rule that batsmen cannot be given out if the ball pitches outside leg stump. It’s mighty unfair for bowlers to lose out on wickets when the ball would have hit the stumps despite pitching outside leg. Also, batsmen frequently pad up when the ball pitches outside leg. Dumb rule in my opinion especially with technology available to confirm decisions!

Wow I wasn’t expecting this to be done up so quick.

HEHEEE Poor Athers couldn’t take a trick with our two strike bowlers!!

Warne would of got him a lot more times, but McGrath made Atherton look like me was batting like McGrath bats when facing McGrath if you get what I mean.

Hey Rob, first of all I couldn’t thank you enough for these videos you’re a legend for taking the time and putting these up!

This might sound a tad unusual, but is there a chance of a couple of clips of Gus Logie’s batting? I’ve had tiny glimpses at his batting, and have liked what I’ve seen, so I was hoping for a bit more.
